Blaxtem ("we", "us", "our") operates Remin, a party memory game available as a mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Device Identifier: When you first open the app, we generate an anonymous UUID (universally unique identifier) stored locally on your device. This ID is used solely to identify you within game sessions. It is never shared with third parties.

Display Name: You choose a display name when creating or joining a game. This name is only visible to other players in your game session and is not stored after the game ends.

Photos: You may select photos from your device's gallery to use during gameplay. Selected photos are uploaded to our servers temporarily and are only visible to participants in the same game room.

Game Data: During gameplay, we store votes, scores, and game state. This data is ephemeral and is tied to the game session.

All information collected is used solely to operate your game session. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose other than delivering the game experience.

Photos uploaded during a game are stored on our servers (powered by Convex) for the duration of the game session. All photos are automatically and permanently deleted within 3 hours after the game ends. Photos are only accessible to participants in the same game room — they are not publicly accessible or indexed.

All game data — including rooms, players, photos, votes, and scores — is automatically purged within 3 hours of game completion. We do not maintain any long-term data storage of user content. The only persistent data is the anonymous device UUID stored locally on your device.

We use the following third-party services to operate Remin:

• Convex — Backend database and file storage for game sessions • Expo — App framework and over-the-air updates

We do not use analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not share your data with any third parties for marketing purposes.

Remin is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Since we store minimal data with automatic deletion, there is typically no personal data to access, correct, or delete. The anonymous device ID is stored only on your device and can be cleared by reinstalling the app. If you have questions or concerns about your data, please contact us.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Photos and game data are stored in encrypted cloud infrastructure provided by Convex. We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes become effective upon posting to this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
